Seyu wins Marketing Diamond Award in CSR category for Tokyo Paralympics campaign
We’re proud to announce that the Hungarian Marketing Association selected Seyu’s campaign for a diamond award for our work at the Paralympic Games. The campaign’s mission was to strengthen the relationship between athletes and their fans.
Recognizing excellence and social impact in marketing
Every year, the Hungarian Marketing Association recognizes excellence and social impact by giving out the Marketing Diamond Awards for the best marketing campaigns. This year we were awarded in the corporate social responsibility category for our work at the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games. As a part of an initiative started by Startup Campus, in collaboration with the Hungarian Paralympic Committee and the SportTech Hungary Program, we built this campaign to help popularize the Paralympics and to build a stronger connection between Paralympians and Hungarian sports fans.
Engaging a record number of sports fans
Given that most fans did not have the chance to watch the games live, the Seyu team decided to provide an opportunity for them to be there and express their support — virtually, from their own homes. Thanks to our digital solution, fans were able to interact with their favorite athletes by sharing their photos with encouraging messages, in frames specifically designed for the event. These images appeared on several platforms and were also shared with the community, strengthening the love for sports and the experience of cheering together.
Throughout the campaign, we managed to reach over a hundred thousand users: on Seyu’s own platforms, we generated over 80.000 views and reactions, and on top of that, the Hungarian Paralympic Committee’s site saw another 33.000 impressions.
The result of a great collaboration: a memorable experience
We were incredibly happy to see the role Seyu’s campaign played in making the Paralympic Games more popular and available to a wider public; and that we could yet again provide an interactive and memorable experience for thousands of fans. Our team truly enjoyed the collaboration with the Hungarian Paralympic Committee and we’re grateful for the support of Startup Campus and the SportTech Hungary Program, who all helped this innovative and socially important campaign come to life.
Thanks to the significant press and media attention received, the event provided a great opportunity to showcase the impact Seyu and other innovative sports technology companies have on fan engagement on an international scale.
