Fans will virtually fill the University Hall of Győr at the Group ‘A’ matches of the FIBA EuroCup Women

Basketball loving fans from Hungary, Turkey and Ukraine will be able to support their favourite clubs in the arena thanks to an innovative Hungarian startup’s digital solution

Complying with the regulations, the FIBA EuroCup group stage matches will take place without fans on the stands however with the help of a solution that already proven itself on the international sport scene, organisers will be able to ‘sneak’ the supporters in the arena virtually.

The organisers have teamed up with ‘Seyu – Together for victory!’ to enable every fan watching to take selfies, add motivating messages and post them in real-time on to the giant screens and court side LED boards in the University Hall of Győr for free of charge. This way making sure that the players will see and feel the support of fans and will be encouraged to deliver extraordinary performances.

After taking a selfie with the Seyu app, the photo will go through a moderatation and branding process within a few seconds, once approved the fans receive a push notification informing them about that the selfie is ready to be displayed in the arena. At this stage fans are welcomed to proudly post their selfies on any social media channels in club branded frames.

This is how easily supporters can post a fan selfie:

  • Download the free ‘Seyu – Together for victory!’ app from the stores
  • Login with Google or Facebook
  • Select FIBA as favourite
  • Tap on their favourite club’s match
  • Take a photo, add a message and share it

Fans can only take photos if screen rotation is on!

Seyu will upload a gallery of all supporter photos being displayed in the arena. Stay tuned with your clubs’ social media channels to be instantly notified when the gallery is released.
