Connecting fans to ski champions at the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup 2022
It was a great honor for our team to participate in the Ski Jumping championship! We took the event to the next level: thanks to our digital solution, we helped connect more than 5,000 fans with their favorite competitors as a result.
Cheering for your favorite skier in a revolutionary way
The globally recognized sports event, FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was held in Planica, Slovenia, between the 24th and 27th of March. When we were invited to join forces with NLB Bank — Slovenia’s largest banking and financial group — in a partnership, our goal was to make the event a truly memorable experience. Seyu’s innovative technology managed to enable all the fans to support contestants by adding customizable, branded frames and inspirational messages to their selfies. By displaying these photos on the giant LED screens of the event, the fans were able to stay connected and attend the event in a fun and interactive way.
The result speaks for itself: more than 5000 sports enthusiasts shared their photos along with supporting messages. This level of engagement really shows the need for new and remotely available solutions that are helping to strengthen the connection between fans and their favorite sports competitors.
Skiing world champions and professional athletes like Ilka Štuhec and Ana Bucik both encouraged attendees to connect through Seyu’s app, further increasing our reach. It was great to see the Olimpija Basketball Club invite their fans to join the event, as well — now that’s what we call sportsmanship!
It’s safe to say that the Seyu team’s first ski jumping event was a great success! We were happy to be part of such an inspiring event hosted by such an amazing community. It’s also a milestone for us: this is the 16th type of sports event where we had the chance to boost fan engagement — and we’re excited to see this list continue to grow.
